The HCAHPS Toolkit was developed to assist Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in reporting and utilizing HCAHPS data, which CAHs are expected to report as a core measure of the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP). The toolkit is intended for all CAHs reporting HCAHPS but specifically focuses on resources and potential strategies to address the challenges faced by CAHs with low response rates and/or low patient volume.
