Experience

Zachariah Croll is a Research Associate at the University of Southern Maine (USM). Prior to joining the Maine Rural Health Research Center and Flex Monitoring Team in 2010, Mr. Croll was a research analyst at RTI International where he helped examine payment incentives, resource usage, and outcomes for populations treated in acute and post-acute care settings. His work at the Maine Rural Health Research Center focuses on rural health insurance coverage, access to care, and the Rural Health Clinic program. He also oversees the state of Maine’s annual member survey for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and assists in the annual cleaning and standardization of Maine’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System survey data. Mr. Croll’s work with the Flex Monitoring Team focuses on Critical Access Hospital community benefit activity, population health improvement, behavioral health services, and long-term services and supports.
