Experience
Since joining the Flex Monitoring Team in 2020, Madeleine's work has focused on quality of care and best practices in Critical Access Hospitals, and she has served as the Principal Investigator for the Flex Monitoring Team since 2025. Topics of her work have included CAHs' response to the COVID-19 pandemic, health-related social needs initiatives, use of health information technology, obstetrics services, and analysis of MBQIP measures. Prior to working with the FMT, Ms. Pick conducted a community health assessment for a local public health department, researched and compiled a suicide prevention toolkit for rural communities, and evaluated physician quality measures.
