About Flex Monitoring

The Flex Monitoring Team is a consortium of researchers from the Universities of Minnesota, North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and Southern Maine, funded by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy to evaluate the impact of the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant Program (the Flex Program). The Flex Monitoring Team also operates and maintains the Critical Access Hospital Measurement and Performance Assessment System (CAHMPAS) for easy access to financial, quality, and community measures. As a technical assistance provider to rural stakeholders, the Flex Monitoring Team provides access to a wide range of resources on relevant topics. Inclusion on the Flex Monitoring Team’s webpage or presentations does not imply endorsement of, or agreement with, the contents by the Flex Monitoring Team or the Health Resources and Services Administration.
