Experience

Bridget joined the Flex Monitoring Team at the University of Southern Maine in 2023. There she serves as a Policy Associate, researching rural health policies and outcomes, with a focus on the role of Critical Access Hospitals. Prior to transitioning to an applied research setting, Bridget was an Assistant Professor of Sociology. As part of the Flex Monitoring Team, she works to identify barriers in the provision of rural health services and informing interventions to improve access to quality health care in rural communities.
