To improve clinical outcomes for maternity patients, the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) developed several patient safety bundles (collections of evidence-informed best practices) for obstetric care. This project builds on previous FMT work from our Quality of Maternity Care in Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) project, and aims to describe the landscape of AIM patient safety bundles in CAHs, specifically: 1) which CAHs are and are not utilizing AIM patient safety bundles, 2) the challenges and successes CAHs have experienced with these bundles, and 3) how the bundles could be adapted to better suit CAH and other rural facilities.
