One of the five core areas in the Flex Program is Financial and Operational Improvement (FOI) to enhance the overall viability of Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). The objectives of this project are to use data to assess: 1) whether CAH participation in Flex FOI interventions is associated with baseline financial performance, and 2) whether CAHs that participate see improvements in financial outcomes as a result of participation.
