​​​​​​This project seeks to understand the details and strategies underlying exemplary models for providing quality cancer care in Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). The project will use available data to select CAHs providing cancer care services and collect additional data to identify exemplary models of cancer care services for rural populations. This focus on cancer care, particularly as a disease that can require lengthy and intense treatment, will help provide CAHs across the country with best practices for improving the quality of cancer care for their patients.
