The Critical Access Hospital Measurement and Performance Assessment System (CAHMPAS) is an online data query tool that State Flex Programs and Critical Access Hospitals can use to explore the financial, quality, and community-benefit performance of Critical Access Hospitals. CAHMPAS provides graphs and data, which facilitate comparisons for various measures across user-defined groups: by location, net patient revenue, or other factors. The tool was launched in April 2016; due to data privacy agreements, access is limited to authorized users (State Flex Program grantees, Critical Access Hospital administrators, federal agency staff).

This ongoing project involves preparing updated data for CAHMPAS, loading this data into the system, developing new features, maintaining existing features, and providing technical assistance to registered users.
